About Our Center
Capitol Campus Child Care Center has qualified staff who serve children 6 weeks to 6 years of age in a warm, individualized, and positive environment. We are licensed for 87 children by the State of Washington Department of Children, Youth and Family Services. We follow CDC, Washington DOH, and WAC health and safety protocols. In 2009, the center was relocated from the grounds of the State Capitol to the westside of Olympia. Our program is designated for State employees and their families, and for children subsidized by DCYF. The center is operated by 5Cs Child Care Centers through a contract with the Parent Board (Parents of CCCCC Foundation). We have six separate classrooms and three separate playgrounds to provide developmentally appropriate activities for each child to learn and grow to their fullest potential. Our curriculum emphasizes the physical, intellectual, social, and emotional growth and development within each child.
At our center, all children should feel a sense of belonging while building relationships and learning through play. We are committed to making our children feel at home and to build a sense of community with all families that attend 5Cās.
